• Analyse maintenance performance needs and effectiveness.
• Control routine maintenance tasks and perform high level maintenance planning.
• Exercise high-level control over supply of spares and materials.
• Initiate and coordinate improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain maintenance systems to address true section needs and to ensure systems are in accordance with corporate standards.
• Control budget and expenditure.
• Lead and manage a team.
• Ensure proper communication.
• Train and coach subordinates and other team members.
