Introduction
ArcelorMittal is hiring for a Senior Clerk to join the Commercial department. The purpose of the role is expediting trucks inside AMSA VDB, overseeing internal transfers, safety, addressing reporting truck delay's, coordinating trucks and load bay issues with Controllers at gate, Transporters and Planners/schedulers.

Responsibilities & requirements
 

·        Monitoring and expediting truck flow throughout AMSA VDB load bay’s

·        Overseeing safety and handling of incidents, also doing inspections and LBI’s

·        Reporting of delay’s and coordinating load bay with Controllers gate

·        Communications with Transporter managing trucks inside AMSA VDB

Minimum requirements

Qualifications & requirements
 
  • Grade 12/NQF 4
  • 5 years experience within VDB Dispatch and Finishing
  • Drivers license
  • Knowledge load bays & products.
  • Knowledge of Customer load requirements
  • Computer literate, knowledge of Phoenix environment
