Job description

Responsibilities & requirements
 

·        Responsible to do short- and medium-term planning and scheduling in terms of tasks and resources

·        Management Stop planning and future planning for Stop tasks

·        Liaise with Execution Superintendent to manage and acquire additional resources (internal and external) to manage peak load demands

·        Liaise with reliability teams, vendors, suppliers, internal workshops on a frequent basis

·        Management of Reconditioning and spare parts drawn from Stores

·        Ensure on time ordering and availability of spares/tools/equipment

·        Ensure the delivery of spares and equipment according to plan

·        Provide maintenance support to the Superintendents

·        Purchase and receiving of material

·        Help compile scope of works and evaluation of tenders

·        SAP statistical recording and maintain SAP Database

·        Responsible for the compilation of resource plan for daily task execution, projects and shutdowns

·        Work in close relationship with Planners to achieve planning horizon; minimize break-ins and Breakdowns

·        Implement KPI’s and reporting related to Execution function

·        Support efficient execution of breakdown tasks

·        Required to work overtime and standby duties

Minimum requirements

Qualifications & requirements

 

·        Grade 12 / N3 / NCV 4

·        Qualified artisan

·        100% Competent in current role

·        Minimum 5 years’ experience in plant maintenance

·        Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in the planning environment

·        Proficiency in MS Office (Word, excel and Projects) and SAP

·        Valid drivers’ license.

·        Knowledge of spare parts and products within an Electrical/Instrumentation field
