Job description

Responsibilities & requirements 

           Management of SHERQ within the team

           Management of total Slab Handling supply chain

           Develop and maintain a maintenance and operational strategy for Slab Handling

           Management of operations in compliance with ISO standards

           Management of stock and flows between Slab yards

           Management of contractors

           Management, development and training of employees

           Project management

           Management of financial budget and the identification of CI opportunities

Minimum requirements

Qualifications & requirements 
 

           B-Degree (NQF 7/10)

           Management Development Program

           Minimum 10 years relevant experience

           Management experience in planning activities

           Confident with the use and implementation of Safety Systems, and ISO management systems

           Knowledge of SHERQ and FPS systems

           Management of Capital and other projects

           Thorough knowledge of Industrial Relations and Union Management
