Job description

  • Maintain and improve SAP maintenance plans.
  • Initiating and completing major capital and extraordinary maintenance projects according to:
  • Technical specifications plan and budget.
  • Compiling detail technical specifications.
  • Quality control projects machinery and installations.
  • Technical support to the maintenance section, including standby.
  • Root cause failure analysis with reoccurrence prevention actions.
  • Training of electrical maintenance staff.
  • Maintenance and development of PLC / SCADA systems and networks.
  • Planning and organizing of tasks requested by the Plants.
  • Execute standby duties.
  • Quality control management and documentation.
  • Comply with FPS and responsibilities thereof.

Minimum requirements

Qualification:
  • National Diploma (NQF 6/10) in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current)

Experience and Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant plant experience.
  • Experience in SAP, compiling and maintaining maintenance plans.
  • Knowledge of Capital project initiation and management procedures.
  • Project management.
