Job description

ArcelorMittal South Africa is offering a 24 months structured Graduate in Training programme in our Commercial Department. The programme will incorporate learning through working alongside experts and guidance by a coach and mentor on an accelerated development journey that is rooted in a high-performance culture. Successful candidates will join on a fixed term contract for a period of 2 years. After the 2 year programme, successful candidates will be eligible for permanent employment based on their performance.

Minimum requirements

Minimum requirements

•    B-degree in Engineering/ Marketing Sciences/ Econometric & Actuarial science / Business Analytics / Data science
•    Post-graduate studies and/or experience in Data Science / Analytics would be advantageous
•    Computer skills and aptitude for working with databases, data modelling, analytics and business-orientated reporting & insights
•    Good communication and presentation skills 
•    Willingness to learn at rapid pace and function in a team  
•    Ability to perform under pressure, both within a team and independently
