Job description

  • Collect operational information.
  • Sort and distribute of information.
  • Process data collection and evaluation.
  • Identify and report discrepancies.
  • Input of computer data.
  • Assist and advise the Iron Making Co-ordinator.
  • Perform Assistant Furnace Keeper duties as required.
  • Perform Water Plant Operator duties as required.
  • Operation of the Pulverized Coal Injection plant.

Minimum requirements

Qualification:
  • Grade 12 / NCV 4 (NQF 4/10)
Experience and Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years experience
Personal Attributes:
  • Safety conscious.
  • Able to work in a team.
  • Physically fit
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be willing to work shifts.
  • Must be willing to work overtime.
