Job description
- Initiating, budgeting, planning and implementing projects.
- Initiating and completing major capital and extraordinary maintenance projects according to budget.
- Co-responsible to ensure maximum plant availability regarding Instrumentation equipment and systems
- Compiling detail technical specifications
- Quality control of projects, machinery and installations.
- Improving the process availability of the plant.
- Technical support to the maintenance sections as above.
- Failure analysis.
- Training of Instrumentation personnel.
- Liaising with outside companies and other sections within the works.
- Standby
Minimum requirements
Qualifications:
- National Diploma (NQF 6/10) in Electrical Engineering (Process Instrumentation)
Experience and Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience
- Experience in the Engineering environment.
- Sound knowledge of Instrumentation systems and the maintenance of measuring and control equipment.
- Extensive knowledge of analytical equipment.
- Extensive knowledge of systems networking.
- Computer literate in MS Projects, MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in SAP PM modules is recommended.
- Superior knowledge and application of skills in fault-finding
- Superior technical knowledge to be applied in relation to plant equipment.
- Experience in project work and planning.
