Job description

Key Performance Areas

·        Control rolling operations within the area (MPM, CTP, SRM,- Straight, Tube saws, Beveling, and Bundling) of responsibility

·        Responsible for rolling different products to customer specifications

·        Optimum planning and controlling of rolling practices to ensure minimum scrap

·        Assist the Superintendent with team performance and achievement of targets for all plant KPI’s

·        Perform problem solving and root cause analysis

·        Adhere to all quality and Sherq standards

·        Support maintenance activities

Minimum requirements

Qualification
•    Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
•    Min of 5 years of experience 
•    Good knowledge of HFS tube making practices and equipment
 
Experience
•    5 years of experience in an HFS tube-making environment
•    Good knowledge of HFS tube making practices and equipment
•    Computer literate (SAP, Excel, Word, MES).
 
Personal Attributes
•    Good communication and leadership skills.
•    High energy levels and drive for results.
•    Able to work independently and under pressure.
•    Understanding of production measurable.
•    High level of Safety awareness
•    Quality conscious, and attention to detail.
•    Must be able and willing to work in extreme heat and noise
•    Be willing to work shifts
