Arcelor Mittal SA (Vanderbijlpark) is hiring for a Manager position in the Plate Mill Progress Reliability, Hot Rolling Department
Job description

•    Benchmarking ITO cost, quality, efficiency, maintenance, production and reliability
•    Formulate sustainable strategies to improve key performance indicators
•    Planning and organizing of tasks and projects as requested by the plant
•    Liaison with external suppliers or stakeholders when required, especially in the areas of new technologies and solutions
•    Budget and cost control
•    Performing all administration tasks (budgets, motivations, SAP requirements, tender specifications etc.) for      advanced projects
•    Control all aspects related to contractors when required
•    Ensure tracking and reporting of plant efficiencies and reliability
•    Minimizing carbon footprint for Vanderbijlpark Works
•    Manage performance and development of teams to ensure that each individual performs at their best
•    Manage and comply with SHERQ systems
•    Support to reliability, maintenance and production teams to improve overall plant stability and reliability
•    Manage maintenance transformation process to ensure sustainable implementation of equipment reliability program
•    Risk management
•    Perform standby and call-out duty

Minimum requirements

Qualification & requirements
 
•    Applicable B Degree/HND/B Tech/M Diploma NQF 7/10 plus preferable a Management Development Program
 
Experience and requirements

•    Minimum 10 years’ experience in a maintenance and production environment
•    Reliability Centered Maintenance and Quality Management experience
•    Experience in Technical Problem-Solving using tools like RCA, Short loops, SPC, etc.
•    Computer literate (SAP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
