ArcelorMittal South Africa is looking to recruit a Metallurgical Technician at the Foundry
Job description

  • Identification and initiation of corrective actions to be implemented
  • Communication with production, maintenance and other clients
  • Be part of project teams for new plants and upgrading of existing plants/equipment
  • Identification and initiation of corrective and improvement actions to be implemented
  • Process development and improvement
  • Technical support to the production personnel
  • Manage, execute and implement capital, EM and planned maintenance projects
  • Root cause analyses of failures and process problems incurred

Minimum requirements

Qualification:
  • National Diploma (NQF 6/10) in Metallurgical Engineering
 
Experience and Requirements:
  • Minimum 18 Months experience
  • Understanding of the Foundry processes
