ArcelorMittal South Africa is looking to recruit a Diesel Electrical Fitter at Iron Making
Job description

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Perform maintenance and breakdown repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel and petrol equipment
  • Perform repairs according to manufacturer specifications
  •  Determine the root cause on equipment failures and prevent future occurrence
  •  Do fault finding and resolve problems
  •  Methodical and structural approach to work, including problem identification and solving
  •  Maintain good housekeeping of the equipment maintenance workshops
  • Safety conscious

Minimum requirements

Qualification:
  • Grade 12 / N3 / NCV 3 (NQF 4/10)
  • Trade Certificate: Diesel Electrical Fitter
