Job description

Key Performance Areas
•    Do daily, weekly, monthly scheduling, planning & updating of project plans. 
•    Do project execution follow-up, report back and feedback. 
•    Manage deviations from planned tasks. 
•    Ensures the delivery of spares and equipment according to plan. 
•    Responsible for the control of spares and facilities. 
•    Ensures the in time placement of orders and follow up of orders placed. 
•    Making up of tenders with supporting documentation. 
•    SAP recording, updating and utilization for all prescribed activities. 
•    Creating,Undeleting and extending material number(Pilog) 
•    Do cost and expenditure tracking and reporting. 
•    Control stocks, facilities, consumables and commissioning spares. 
•    Do deviation reporting and initiate corrective actions. 
•    Write and keep agenda & minutes of meetings. 
•    Responsible to set up and maintain the project documentation and follow-up system. 
•    Submit tenders timelessly. 
•    Arrange site visits and meetings with contractors. 
•    Ensures the delivery of spares and equipment according to plan. 
•    Support efficient execution of breakdown tasks. 
•    Detail planning Fitting and Turning department. 
•    Maintain stocks of spares required for the reconditioning of Sinter Plant pallet frames. 
•    Maintain stocks of spares required for the reconditioning of Bar Mill looper table rollers. 
•    Create and maintain replenishment orders. 
•    Estimating of cost required to manufacture and recondition of components and equipment. 

Minimum requirements

Qualification Requirement
•    Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
•     Red Seal (Fitter & Turner / Turner) 
•    Code B driver’s license
 
Experience
•    5 years post training experience in the Manufacturing and Reconditioning environment. 
 
Personal Attributes
•    Knowledge of spare parts & products applicable 
•    Knowledge of tendering & procurement processes 
•    Knowledge of Manufacturing and Reconditioning Process 
•    Knowledge of daily, weekly, monthly planning & updating. 
•    Knowledge of follow-up, report back and feedback. 
•    Knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings. 
•    Know how to maintain SAP database 
•    Ability to relate, liaise and co-operate with plant personnel, Contractors, Service Organizations and Management. 
•    Computer literate with extensive ability in MS-Word, Project, Excel and SAP
•    Analytical and problem solving skills. 
•    Pro-active, initiative and performance driven. 
•    High level of energy.
•    Self Starter. 
•    Reliable & available for after hour work.
